Father's Day Remembrance

Peter posted a very eloquent piece about our dad, your grandfather, here . We stopped off at the grave site with you and the boys to leave a small sword and visited with Grandma Barb for a little while. One of Dad's favorite bands was Fairport Convention - this song will always remind me of him:

"I'll Keep It With Mine"

You may search at any cost
But how long can you search for what's not lost?
Everybody will help you
Some people are very kind
But if I can save you any time

Come on, give it to me
I'll keep it with mine

I can't help it, if you might think I'm odd
If I say I'm loving you, not for what you are, but for what you're not
Everybody will help you
Discover what you set out to find
But if I can save you any time

Come on, give it to me
I'll keep it with mine

The train leaves at half past ten
But I'll be back tomorrow at the same time again
The conductor, he's weary
He's still stuck on the line
But if I can save you any time

Come on, give it to me
I'll keep it with mine

Nine Month update

Val took this photo at training.

We have two more teeth!!!! The upper chompers are coming in, making life twice as dangerous for the MAC. And crawling has started - soon she'll be able to chase the boys down and bite their ankles.

Nine month check showed:

Length: 2' 6.5"" (99th percentile)
Weight: 20lbs 15 oz (85th percentile)
Head: 17.91" (85th percentile)

She's started rolling over in her sleep now and likes to sleep on her stomach with her blue horsie. She pulls herself up all over the place and wants to read everyone's books. In the kitchen she likes to take the old revere ware out and bang it around just like Val did.
