The magic 2 yr growth stats

Apparently there is no more head measuring now - they seem to think that if we can get you into t-shirts there's no problem. Weight was 26 lbs, 12.8 ounces, in the 51st percentile and height was 2' 10.5", in the 67th percentile. And when we ask you how old you are, you tell us you have "three grandmas"...

Birthday #2

We had a Hello Kitty cake from a Jacques Torres recipe that just drove me nuts! The batter whipped up so much that it escaped from the bowl, and then ended up dry when it was done (but with lovely aeration). The icing fell apart and had to be whipped between two bags of frozen peas to pull it back together. At lest the little Hello Kitty decoration worked out! Then you wouldn't come out of your room after nap time!


We finally got you up and you sat with your brothers while everyone else ate...we had all your favorites, meatballs, pea soup, ham and cheese. I think you finally ate about ten meatballs.


Del helped you with your presents.
The Mrs. Potato Head from your cousin Olivia was a big hit!!
The favorite was the talking baby doll from Grandma Judy though - after that came out, nothing else was important.


You also got a lovely easel from your Grandma Arleen that we will set up right before we rip the living room carpet out. And next Thursday is the big weigh in. Hopefully there aren't any vaccinations!!
